Berlin 2022 – abstract submission

The call for papers has closed!

Deadline for submissions: 1 June 2022 (deadline expired)
Notification of acceptance: 1 July 2022

Participants are invited to submit abstracts of up to 400 words for international peer review. They should be written in English and provided as a Word file using this template. A brief biographical note (max. 100 words) should also be provided at the end of the abstract. Each author, either as sole author or co-author, may only submit one paper proposal; each paper must be an original contribution that has not been published or presented before.
A selection of high-quality submissions will be accepted for oral presentation at the symposium. We ask all authors to indicate whether they would prefer a paper or poster presentation, but final decision regarding the presentation slots will rest with the organisers.
When submitting authors are also asked to indicate their interest to submit a full paper after the conference. These papers will pass through an additional reviewing process. As with the previous Istanbul symposium, the proceedings of the Berlin Symposium will be published open access in the official ICA Proceedings Series. The decision as to which papers will be published will rest with the editors whose decision will be final.
